Overview
Wolford partnered with the Ballerina Project and an award-winning photographer to create a breathtaking campaign featuring the renowned ballerina WanTing Zhao, set against the stunning backdrop of San Francisco. The campaign showcased the limited-edition Ballerina Skirt, a luxurious piece adorned with 13,000 crystals, exclusively available at ten select boutiques worldwide. My role as Senior Digital Designer was central to the creation of this campaign's digital materials, bringing the elegance and exclusivity of the Ballerina Skirt to life across multiple platforms.
What I did
As the Senior Digital Designer, I was responsible for the design and execution of digital assets that captured the luxury and sophistication of this unique campaign. My contributions included:
- Landing Page Design: I designed an ethereal, visually captivating landing page that reflected the elegance of the Ballerina Skirt. The page was crafted to immerse visitors in the enchanting world of ballet, with seamless integration of the campaign’s stunning photography and compelling storytelling.
- Social Media Content: I created a series of visually cohesive social media posts and stories that highlighted the beauty of the Ballerina Skirt, driving engagement and directing followers to the landing page and exclusive boutiques.
- Email Marketing: I developed a luxurious email marketing campaign that featured high-quality images of the Ballerina Skirt, emphasizing its exclusivity and encouraging recipients to visit the select boutiques for a closer look.
- Special Design Elements: The campaign required a design approach that conveyed luxury and exclusivity. I incorporated delicate typography, a refined color palette, and subtle animations to enhance the overall user experience, ensuring that every digital touchpoint exuded the high-end nature of the product.
- Collaboration: I worked closely with retouchers and the creative director to ensure that the digital designs complemented the artistic vision of the campaign, aligning the visual narrative across all platforms.
Key Achievements & Learnings:
- High Engagement: The social media campaign saw a 35% increase in engagement compared to previous campaigns, driven by the visually stunning content and the allure of the exclusive product.
- Increased Foot Traffic: The landing page and email marketing efforts contributed to a noticeable increase in foot traffic at the select boutiques, with several locations reporting a sell-out of the Ballerina Skirt within the first week of the campaign launch.
- Brand Elevation: This project allowed me to further refine my skills in creating digital campaigns that are not only visually appealing but also strategically designed to drive tangible results. The success of this campaign reinforced my ability to deliver high-impact designs for luxury brands.
